Building community is the integral and most important part of our project. In our grand vision, we’re set to bring dreams to life amidst the beauty of Crete. Imagine a community where our homes stand surrounded by a permaculture food forest, each a unique haven waiting for its owner. We’re not just building houses; we’re building a family and creating possibilities.

We are dreaming to build a strong community where people and families from all over the world will be harmoniously integrated to the local life and bring new ideas and possibilities. Families are more than welcome and we will make sure to accomodate their needs in time (play areas, nursery, school).
At the moment, we own some large pieces of land and we are going trough the diverses administratives steps to get all the building permits. We have already received authorisations to build/rebuild several houses and the work is starting shortly. We should receive the green light for the others very soon.
In the first phase, we’re working on getting the Center of Learning up and running. At the same time, we are preparing the land for our reforestation project, following permaculture principles. As we all pitch in and co-create this project, the community is establishing and growing together. In the next step, we are building the houses and the facilities from where we will operate.
Our plan is ambitious and we are planning to build a hundred houses for future community members. Each one will be made in Cretan style for an harmonious integration in the local scenery. They are designed to stay fresh in summer and warm in winter and will be build with high quality and natural material. We strive to be largely independant from municipal services.
Also as the project grows there will be paid positions that will be created, prioritie will go to the residents of the community.
